• French fries are the most popular fast food in America. In 1970, french fries crossed even regular potato sales in the States. In 2004, Americans ate more than 7.5 billion pounds of frozen french fries.

• TV significantly extended the outreach of ad kings to reach out to children and try to develop brand loyalty early in life. Today, the average American child sees more than 10,000 food advertisements each year on television.

• Consumers in the USA only spend over $100 billion on fast food every year.

• Young people are most likely to eat fast food, and 57% of Americans aged 18 to 29 say they do so at least once a week. 33% of people indulge once or twice a month.

• American consumers on average drink more than 54 gallons of carbonated soft drinks each year, making carbonated soft drinks the most popular beverage in the U.S., almost three times more popular than bottled water, milk or coffee.

There are companies and there are giants in the market in the name of fast food. It is almost known to be the most effective industry across the glob as they are in high demand and famous for their quality and taste. They are available in every rest stop, all the exits and corners.
